We reviewed the existing hardware an software contraints and developed a roadmap for testing and development.

We utilized an extensive list of methods on this project, including a heristic analysis of existing software, persona development, interview preperation (script prep), interviewing and requirements gathering for future development.

We created a comprehensive feature matrix, including user tasks and categorized them as new or existing functionality. This matrix doubled as a checklist, ensuring that both our internal developers and the client had a clear view of the project's scope.

As we entered the Design phase, we solidified the initial scope and began constructing wireframes, user flows, and prototypes using Adobe XD. Collaborating closely with the client and internal developers, we aimed to ensure accuracy, ease of use, and data integrity.

Simultaneously, we partnered with Wegman’s to conduct usability testing in their stores. We formulated a set of questions to gauge the success of our redesign, focusing on aspects like ease of use, ergonomics, scanning functionality, and the ability to add and delete items. The feedback was positive, confirming the success of the new applications.
